18. Is the iPhone's touch screen better than a dedicated keypad?
Ultimately this is down to personal preference, whilst some users will likely learn to type on the iPhone and not need tactile feedback others will prefer the physical tactile feedback that a touch screen cannot provide. Unlocking iPhone firmware 1.1.2

am loving this unlocking the iphone

again copy paste from a site
http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/iphone-modifications/jailbreak-software-for-1-1-2-released-by-dev-team-17069.html
---------------------------------------------------------------------

DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS IF YOUR PHONE IS UNLOCKED OR IF YOU HAVE A UK PHONE.

These are the steps I took to go from an already modded, but NOT unlocked 1.1.1 phone TO 1.1.2 (if you're already at 1.1.2, you must downgrade first):

Step 0: Download the necessary files
Jailbreak program from the Dev Team:
http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/site/112jb.html

If you're on Windows, you'll need to make sure that Java (http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp) and Microsoft .NET Frameworks 3.0 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en) is installed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1: Prepare your 1.1.1 device for the Update

1. Launch Installer.app

2. Scroll down to Tweaks (1.1.1)

3. Select OktoPrep

4. Click Install

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 2: Update to 1.1.2

1. Connect your device to your computer

2. Launch iTunes

3. Back up all your notes, calendars, contacts, etc by doing a sync. (Optional step)

4. Click on "Check for Updates" or "Update". DO NOT click "Restore"!!

5. Wait forever for your device to update

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 3: Jailbreak your activated iPhone

1. Close iTunes

2. Make sure your device is connected to your computer

3. Extract the jailbreak folder provided by the Dev Team (see link at very top). On Windows, double click on windows.bat, on Mac, double click on jailbreak.jar

4. Follow the on screen instructions.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
now to make your sim works you have install Anysim 1.1.2u and run it . to do that add this source in the installer . http://rep.frenchiphone.com than go to install in your installer and look for Anysim 1.1.2u and install it .. run that Anysim and you got your self a working 1.1.2 .. enjoy !! ;)

TROUBLESHOOTING

On Windows and receiving a "cannot launch iPHUC" error:
Try extracting the jailbreak program to the C: drive instead of a folder and run windows.bat from there. (Thank you Reptile347 for the tip)

On Mac and receiving an error about missing libreadline (i.e. "cannot launch iPHUC" error):
1. Download and extract libreadline.5.2.dylib
http://rapidshare.com/files/69935586...e.5.2.zip.html

2. On your Mac, launch terminal and type: open /usr/local/lib/

3. A folder will popup. Copy libreadline.5.2.dylib into this folder.

4. Make sure your jailbreak folder from the Dev Team is extracted on your desktop. Rename the folder to something simple, like: JB

5. In Terminal type: cd ~/Desktop/JB

6. In Terminal type: ./osx

What if my phone is already at 1.1.2?
If your phone is already at 1.1.2, the only current solution at the moment is to downgrade to 1.1.1, install OktoPrep, then upgrade back to 1.1.2. See this guide on how to downgrade:

it's because Ferruccio Lamborghini founder of the wonderful car zodiac sign is Taurus !! ouch now me and Ferruccio got something in common :P

for readers copy paste from wikipedia

The founding of Lamborghini
A wealthy manufacturer of tractors and air conditioning and heating units systems after World War II, Lamborghini was an enthusiastic owner of sports cars, including Ferraris. He noticed that some of the clutch components were the same as the ones he used on his tractors, as well as suffering recurring reliability issues not unfamiliar to Ferraris. He approached Enzo Ferrari with his criticism. Ferrari insulted Lamborghini, effectively stating that a tractor manufacturer was not qualified to criticize Ferraris. Affronted by Ferrari's reaction, Lamborghini decided to "build better cars than Ferrari" and to prove that supercars did not have to be as temperamental as Ferraris.
